ACC Heavy Duty Names Brett Delp Sales Director as Linda Hou Retires

Jupiter, Fla. – – October 06, 2026 -- Linda Hou, director of sales at ACC Heavy Duty, retired at the end of September 2026 after nearly 30 years in the commercial vehicle industry, with Brett Delp succeeding her in the role.

Hou exits after three decades spanning two generations of family ownership

Hou joined the family business, then known as American Chrome Company, in 1997. She left in 2001 for a seven-year run at Volvo Trucks North America as a product manager for accessories, earning an MBA from Wake Forest University in 2007 before returning to American Chrome in early 2008 to become president.

Company traces roots to a 1983 garage startup in Davenport, Iowa

Hou's parents founded American Chrome in a Davenport garage in 1983. The company became one of the original supplier partners to Alliance Parts in the 1990s, working alongside Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks North America and Navistar International.

ACC Heavy Duty now supplies three of four major truck manufacturers

Under Hou's leadership, ACC Heavy Duty grew into a supplier for three of the four major manufacturers' private-label aftermarket programs. The company operates as a Daimler supplier partner and participates across Volvo's production, PDC, direct-ship and Road Choice private-label networks, running an 80,000-square-foot ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified distribution center in Bolingbrook, Illinois. In May 2026, Hou accepted a Daimler Truck North America APEX Award on the company's behalf, one of six supplier partners recognized for quality, delivery, technology and cost performance.

2023 acquisition by Multi Parts Solutions added global engineering capacity

Hou led the company through its 2023 acquisition by Multi Parts Solutions, which brought global engineering and product development resources to ACC's commercial vehicle operations and enabled new programs including ACC Fleet Solutions.

Delp inherits the fleet-focused parts program he launched this year

Delp joined ACC Heavy Duty earlier in 2026 as commercial fleet sales manager, leading the launch of ACC Fleet Solutions, a program developing custom-engineered replacement parts for fleets facing chronic component failures. He now takes over responsibility for the company's OEM and fleet customer relationships.

"What I will miss is not the work so much as the people," Hou said, noting she has had the same conversations with some customers for 25 years.

Scott Robertson, vice president commercial for Multi Parts Solutions, said Hou built the company's OEM partnerships "one relationship at a time, the same way her family built the company."
