DTE Energy Completes 100-MW Solar Park for Ford's Michigan Plants

Detroit – October 01, 2026 -- DTE Energy has completed construction on the 100-megawatt Cold Creek Solar Park near Coldwater, Michigan, a facility funded through Ford Motor Company's enrollment in DTE's voluntary MIGreenPower renewables program.

Ford commits to up to 650 megawatts of renewable capacity through DTE program

Ford agreed to purchase up to 650 megawatts of renewable energy via DTE's CleanVision MIGreenPower program, which lets businesses attribute their electricity use to Michigan-generated clean power. By the end of 2027, Ford says every vehicle it manufactures in Michigan will be assembled using the equivalent of 100% carbon-free electricity.

Cincinnati – September 18, 2026 -- Advantage Technical, a Staffmark Group company, announced that Evan Nedwick, a contract professional placed with Ford Motor Company, has been named a 2027 National Staffing Employee of the Year All-Star for the Engineering, Information Technology, and Scientific sector by the American Staffing Association (ASA).

A decade-long placement outlasted a 2021 restructuring

Nedwick joined Advantage Technical in 2015, initially supporting Ford's Interior/Exterior Prior Approval team after starting his career as a technician at a Ford dealership. When his role was eliminated during a 2021 restructuring, Advantage Technical redeployed him into Ford's mobile service operations, where he has since expanded his responsibilities.
