JinkoSolar Board Approves Rename to Jinko Holdings, Details AI Bets

Shangrao – – September 12, 2026 -- JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: JKS) said its board has approved a proposal to rename the company Jinko Holdings Limited, with 晶科控股有限公司 as its dual foreign name, pending shareholder approval at an annual general meeting scheduled for October 21, 2026, and completion of regulatory procedures. The company's American depositary shares are expected to continue trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker JKS.

Name change formalizes a dual-engine holding structure

The rebrand codifies a two-part model: an industrial holdings arm anchored by JinkoSolar's controlling stake in Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. (SSE: 688223), the group's integrated solar and energy storage operating subsidiary, and a strategic investment arm pursuing minority stakes in artificial intelligence, renewable energy, advanced materials and commercial space ventures tied to China's industrial upgrading.

Moonshot AI Rebrands to Shuttlebase After Name Clash With Kimi Maker

New York – September 12, 2026 -- Moonshot AI, the autonomous eCommerce website optimization platform founded in 2023, has rebranded as Shuttlebase after a naming collision with the China-based Moonshot AI, developer of the Kimi AI models, created market confusion during that company's global expansion.

Name collision with Chinese AI firm forces New York startup to rebrand

Co-founders Aviv Frenkel and Evyatar Segal said the switch was not planned but became necessary once the unrelated Chinese firm's expansion began overlapping with their brand identity in the market. "We didn't plan on changing our name, but the collision forced us to think about what we're actually building," said Frenkel, Co-Founder and CEO. "Shuttlebase captures that vision. We want to build the launchpad that allows eCommerce brands to continuously improve and move faster."
