Newsweek and Statista screened 14,693 nursing homes to select 1,325

Newsweek compiles the ranking each year with research firm Statista. The 2027 edition highlights 1,325 of the 14,693 U.S. nursing homes analyzed, or about 9% of the field.

The evaluation draws on performance data, peer recommendations, accreditations and satisfaction metrics, and uses data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Solaris places two Florida facilities in the 100-149 bed category

The East Orlando facility sits in Orlando, while the second ranked site is in Apopka, Florida. Both were listed in the same bed-size bracket, 100-149 beds.
