BEIJING -- Aug. 31, 2026 -- Walnut Coding placed No. 44 among 500 companies in TIME's World's Top EdTech Companies 2026 ranking, the only China-based youth coding education firm to break into the global top 100. The Beijing-founded company ranked sixth among 23 China-based firms on the list, which TIME compiled with market data provider Statista after screening roughly 6,500 education technology companies worldwide.

Financial strength drives 70% of the scoring methodology

Statista weighted revenue, funding and market capitalization at 70% of each company's total score, pulling from public disclosures and company-reported data. The remaining 30% covered industry impact, measured through product reach, alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, intellectual property holdings and website traffic.

HONG KONG -- September 01, 2026 -- Fosun International reported a 160.3% year-on-year surge in first-half profit attributable to owners of the parent to RMB1.72 billion, the conglomerate said at an interim results presentation held in Hong Kong on Aug. 28. Total revenue for the six-month period reached RMB86.96 billion, with overseas markets contributing RMB49.16 billion, or 56.5% of the total. The briefing marked Fosun's first in-person results presentation in Hong Kong in six years, attended by Chairman Guo Guangchang, Co-Chairman Wang Qunbin, Co-CEOs Chen Qiyu and Xu Xiaoliang, and CFO Gong Ping.

Four Core Units Generate 73.5% of Group Revenue

Fosun Pharma, Yuyuan, Portuguese insurer Fidelidade, and the group's tourism segment together accounted for 73.5% of total revenue in the first half, the company disclosed. Pharmaceutical and insurance operations delivered the strongest performance among the four units.

MASON, Ohio -- September 01, 2026 -- Prasco, LLC has acquired a 130,000-plus square foot distribution facility in Carey, Ohio, expanding the pharmaceutical commercialization company's automation, cold-chain and secure storage capacity beyond its existing Mason, Ohio operations. The deal, announced Aug. 31, 2026, adds a second Ohio campus for the company, which works with more than 65 brand partners and supplies medications to over 70,000 pharmacies nationwide. Prasco specializes in Authorized Generics and end-to-end commercialization services for global drug brands.

The Carey site sits inside what Prasco describes as the Midwest pharmaceutical and logistics corridor, giving the company direct highway access to CDMOs, national distribution centers and major health systems. Prasco said the location strengthens its footprint in Ohio, a state it identified as one of the most active life sciences markets in the country.
