A swivel chair video generated 14 million views and 80,000 unit sales in two months

One case featured in the documentary shows a swivel chair that went viral after a short video reached 14 million views, driving sales of 80,000 units within two months. The supply chain behind the product delivers 90% of U.S. orders within two days.

Other examples include a carbon-fiber fishing rod tested with Australian fishing associations over several months, a pink toolbox repositioned as a Mother's Day gift in North America, and a cooling bedding product that took eight months to develop for consumers seeking relief from nighttime heat.

Bonded warehouses now double as livestream studios

The documentary highlights emerging operational models in the sector, including AI-driven "one-person companies" that deploy intelligent agents to manage product design, marketing and customer service. Bonded warehouses are also being converted into livestream studios to add transparency to logistics operations.

Physical trade hubs such as the Alibaba Center are integrating upstream and downstream segments of the supply chain within a single site, according to the series.

Hangzhou platforms have introduced 3,500 French brands to the Chinese market

The documentary extends its scope to Paris, where Hangzhou-based companies and platforms have brought more than 3,500 French brands into the Chinese market. An overseas warehouse tied to the operation supports international delivery within three days.

Experts cited in the film describe regulatory compliance as a requirement for sustained growth in cross-border trade rather than an optional feature.
