Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – – September 29, 2026 -- IGEL has signed a strategic distribution agreement with Adistec to bring its Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform into Latin America, the companies announced at Omnissa ONE 2026. The deal marks IGEL's formal market entry into the region and adds Adistec as a new regional distribution partner tasked with technical enablement, training, and go-to-market support for resellers, system integrators, and technology service providers.
IBM data shows four attack vectors each account for 25% of Latin American breaches
IBM's 2026 X-Force Threat Intelligence Index found that valid-account abuse, exploitation of public-facing applications, software supply-chain attacks, and abuse of external remote services each represented 25% of observed initial-access incidents in Latin America. Gartner has advised CISOs to shift toward a Workspace Immutable Secure Endpoint model, while Forrester's 2027 budget guidance calls for evaluating secure desktop operating systems in higher-risk environments.
Adistec brings more than 20 years of regional channel infrastructure
Adistec operates sales, technical, marketing, logistics, training, and professional-services capabilities across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, virtualization, and cloud technologies in Latin America and the Caribbean. Under the agreement, its partners will gain access to IGEL's platform alongside complementary security and infrastructure products already in Adistec's portfolio.
Platform combines an immutable OS with centralized management and workload attestation
IGEL's architecture runs on three components: IGEL OS as the execution layer, Universal Management Suite as the control layer, and IGEL App Portal as the data layer. The setup is designed to manage endpoint hardware centrally while limiting attack surface and local data exposure across SaaS, DaaS, VDI, and enterprise browser environments. IGEL Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery adds a recovery path for Windows endpoints hit by ransomware, other cyberattacks, or outages.
Partnership targets Zero Trust, SASE, and regulated-industry deployments
Phil Eden, Vice President of Channels Sales for North America at IGEL, said endpoint strategy in Latin America is increasingly tied to broader security, cloud, and secure-access decisions, and that Adistec's regional relationships will help extend IGEL's approach into VDI, DaaS, Zero Trust, SASE, and business continuity use cases. Ramiro Rios, Business Development Manager at Adistec, said the addition gives partners another route to address cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and secure-access requirements without disrupting customers' existing technology stacks.
Adistec and IGEL plan to focus joint enablement on deployment, migration, and endpoint lifecycle services, with partners able to position IGEL within manufacturing, frontline, and regulated-industry environments as well as traditional workspace modernization projects. The companies showcased the partnership to attendees at Omnissa ONE 2026 in Orlando, running September 28–30.
