INFORM Launches Cloud-Native AI Software for Airport Passenger Assistance

Aachen, Germany – October 01, 2026 -- INFORM has launched Passenger Assistance (PA) Dispatching, a cloud-native SaaS platform built to help airports manage surging demand for wheelchair, unaccompanied minor, VIP and special assistance services through real-time forecasting and automated decision support.

Airports face rising passenger assistance loads amid staffing shortages

Growing traveler volumes, stricter service expectations and persistent staffing gaps are straining manual dispatch systems, according to INFORM. Fragmented operational data leaves teams reacting to disruptions rather than anticipating them, the Aachen-based logistics software provider said.

Platform unifies forecasting, dispatch and mobile workflows into one system

PA Dispatching combines predictive demand forecasting, real-time visibility and decision-support tools, feeding live recommendations to dispatchers and mobile updates to field staff. The system is designed to integrate with existing airport infrastructure via standardized interfaces, the company said.

"The real question is how to turn information into better decisions while operations are running," said Dr. Eva Wille, Product Manager for PA Dispatching at INFORM, noting that most operators already collect sufficient data but struggle to act on it in real time.

INFORM frames launch as first step in broader decision-intelligence strategy

Dr. Johannes Richenhagen, Senior VP at INFORM Aviation, said PA Dispatching is built cloud-native and AI-native and marks the start of the company's "future-ready product strategy," designed to scale with operational growth and pair with INFORM's existing Performance Products line.
