Middletown, Del. – September 7, 2026 -- JAMS Software has launched JAMS Incident Management, an on-call alerting and escalation platform priced at $6 per user monthly, with free access for teams of up to five users. The product reached general availability on September 1, 2026, following a customer early access period that began August 1.
Alerts escalate across six channels until a human responds
JAMS Incident Management ingests alerts from any system capable of sending an email, calling a webhook, or reaching an API. It delivers notifications over voice, SMS, push, email, Microsoft Teams, and Slack, escalating through an on-call rotation until someone acknowledges the incident and tracking it through to resolution.
Pricing bundles scheduling and escalation into base tiers
The Starter tier costs $6 per user per month, billed annually, for up to 25 users. The Professional tier costs $16 per user per month for up to 50 users and adds two-way integrations with Azure Monitor, ServiceNow, and Zendesk. Enterprise pricing is available on request for unlimited users. On-call scheduling and escalation policies ship as standard features in paid plans rather than separate add-ons, and a fourteen-day trial unlocks every feature without a credit card.
CEO says the product responds to bloated, overpriced incumbents
Peter Hegland, chief executive officer of JAMS Software, said the company built the tool after experiencing frustration as a customer of other incident management products it found feature-bloated, overhyped on AI, and overpriced. He said the goal was reliable alerting to the right person at a reasonable cost for service desk, batch processing, and DevOps or SRE teams.
Native integration links incidents to JAMS Scheduler job failures
Teams running JAMS Scheduler can automatically open an incident from a failed job and restart that job directly from a phone call or text message within JAMS Incident Management. The two products operate independently of each other, so neither requires the other to function.
Voice and SMS delivery currently covers three countries
Voice and SMS notifications work in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, with additional regions available on request. Email, push, Microsoft Teams, and Slack notifications function anywhere and are unlimited on every plan, while SMS and voice usage is pooled across the team.
Security architecture runs on Microsoft Azure with OIDC single sign-on
The platform operates on Microsoft Azure with TLS encryption in transit, encrypted provider credentials at rest, tenant isolation, and an audit trail covering every action. Single sign-on uses OIDC, with setup guides available for Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace, and Auth0.
