United States – September 17, 2026 -- Pavion, a global integrated security and life-safety solutions provider generating over $1 billion in annual revenue, has appointed Andy Bierer as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Joe Oliveri, who built the company into its current market-leading position.
Bierer arrives from Carrier's Automated Logic division
Bierer most recently served as President of Automated Logic, a Carrier company specializing in building automation and control solutions. He previously held senior leadership roles at Carrier and Otis, where he led field organizations across North America and Europe and drove both organic and acquisition-based growth.
Oliveri scaled Pavion to 70-plus branches through 24 acquisitions
Under Oliveri's leadership, Pavion expanded to more than 70 branches and integrated 24 strategic acquisitions, broadening its service portfolio and establishing the operational foundation for continued growth. The company now employs more than 2,500 people worldwide, serving 58 of the Fortune 100 and seven of the world's 10 largest hyperscalers.
New CEO prioritizes platform innovation and selective M&A
Pavion's stated priorities under Bierer include enhancing customer experience through service and platform innovation, expanding within core markets, investing in workforce and operations, and pursuing selective acquisitions aligned with long-term strategy. Oliveri will remain available as a resource to Bierer and the Board during the transition.
Bierer said he was drawn to Pavion's customer-first culture and the trust the company has built with clients across mission-critical industries.
